Campus Use Procedure

网曝吃瓜 events will have priority use of space on campus based on the following:

Up to 2 years in advance - BOR, Presidential, recurring annual 网曝吃瓜 events and events taking place June 1 - July 31
Up to 1 year in advance - All other 网曝吃瓜 events
University facilities will be available for external groups to rent for the next academic year on a first come, first served basis after April 30 each year.

Classrooms (available for non-academic events after the academic download is complete for each semester)
Meeting rooms (Surbeck Center, Research Quarry, Pearson Alumni Center, and department meeting rooms)
Departments will have priority scheduling over meeting rooms in their building until April 30 for the next academic year)
NCAA Athletics have priority scheduling in all Athletic Spaces through July 31 for the next academic year. 网曝吃瓜 student organizations and campus departments may request to use athletic spaces beginning Aug. 1 for the next academic year. (Recurring annual 网曝吃瓜 events may be scheduled in Athletic spaces up to 1 year in advance at the discretion of the Athletic Director or designee.)

网曝吃瓜 Students have priority use of all meeting spaces in the Devereaux Library.

Student Collaboration rooms - may be scheduled by 网曝吃瓜 students for individual or group study on a first come, first served basis each morning
Conference rooms - Students have priority scheduling during the academic year. South Dakota Mines departments may request individual meetings when not in use by students
Library Meeting spaces are not available for rental by external groups.
Library spaces may be available to 网曝吃瓜 outreach activities during the summer with approval of the Associate Vice President for Student Success

All events taking place on the 网曝吃瓜 campus that require South Dakota Mines personnel or any event setup, must be scheduled through the Scheduling and Event Operations department at least 10 business days in advance. Fees will be assessed through the user fee policy.
