ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Residence Life offers a variety of housing options with three first-year residence halls, one suite-style building, and two apartment buildings. Explore our housing options to find your perfect fit!

Connolly houses first-year and second-year students in double rooms with a very small number of single rooms for second-year students. Connolly features wings with common bathrooms, large community lounges with kitchens, and community laundry on the second floor. 

The room layout image below is approximate and students should be prepared for very slight variations in room dimensions. Each room has twin XL beds that can be lofted or bunked using the provided lofting kits and safety rails are available by request from the RA once on campus. Some additional furniture measurements (drawer depth, wardrobe shelf height, etc.) will be updated after the new furniture install has been completed this summer.

Palmerton is primarily home to first-year residents. All floors have double-occupancy rooms, common area bathrooms, and common lobbies in the middle of the floor. Kitchen areas are also provided on each floor except first. The room layout image below is approximate and students should be prepared for very slight variations in room dimensions, especially in the cubbies to either side of the window. Dimensions for each room are not available.

 

Each room has twin XL beds that can be lofted or bunked using the provided lofting kits and safety rails are available by request from the RA once on campus. Some additional furniture measurements (drawer depth, wardrobe shelf height, etc.) will be updated after the furniture install has been completed this summer. All rooms have an open closet space with clothing bar where the dresser is located in the room diagram. Only room 102 has two wardrobes instead of a closet/dresser combination.

Peterson houses almost 300 first-year and second-year students and is connected to the Surbeck Center. Peterson is home to our first-year Peterson Interest Communities and has a variety of different room styles including doubles, triples, quads, and study quads. Room layout images below are approximations and students should be prepared for slight variations in room shapes and dimensions.

Bedroom varies by space, but each room has twin XL beds that can be lofted or bunked using the provided lofting kits and safety rails are available by request from the RA once on campus. All students have access to a wardrobe or dresser with closet space that may be shared by roommates. Some additional furniture measurements (drawer depth, wardrobe shelf height, etc.) will be updated after the new furniture install has been completed this summer. Each room has a sink and there are community bathrooms for the residents living in doubles and triples. Residents in quads and study quads have a private bathroom which they maintain. All rooms, closets, and sinks/counters vary in layout/exact dimension.

Placer offers 50 suite-style units for second-year students. Each suite offers a living room and bathroom. ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï half of the suites consist of 2 double bedrooms, while the other suites have 4 single bedrooms. Community lounges, kitchens and group study spaces are provided throughout the building.

Rocker Square I houses 116 upper-class students. Apartments mainly consist of four single bedrooms, with some three- and two-bedroom units. Rocker Square I also features a group study room and easy access to the 24/7 market located on the 1st floor.

Residents are required to have a meal plan, including the option of selecting the all-flex low cost Rocker Square plan. Alcohol is permitted for those 21 and older, following local and state laws. For full alcohol policies, refer to the Residence Life Handbook.

  2. Wireless Internet Provided (ethernet not provided)
  3. Partially furnished living rooms with an end table and couch, loveseat, or upholstered chairs (seating may vary)
  4. Furnished bedrooms with full-sized bed, dresser, desk/chair
  5. Kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and bar seating
  6. 4-bedroom units include 2 full bathrooms. 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom units include 1 full bathroom.
  7. Parking available in yellow parking lots (around Rocker I, Rocker II, and Placer). The Rocker Square yellow parking permit is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis through Parking.
  8. Mail and packages will be delivered to Surbeck Mailroom. Students will be assigned a campus mailbox.

Rocker Square II houses 123 students and is typically reserved for upper-class students. Apartments mainly consist of four single bedrooms, with some three- and two-bedroom units.
