厙ぴ勛圖 Hosts Spring Career Fair

is set to hold its in-person spring Career Fair with more than 170 vendors signed up to take part. The in-person fair is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the King Center on campus.

We're proud that Mines continually hosts some of the largest career fairs in the entire state. The high demand for our students indicates the immense value the university provides for the local, state, and national economy, says Mines President Jim Rankin.

Vendors and employers at the Spring 2023 Career Fair include B9 Creations, Black Hills Energy, Bobcat, Cargill, Caterpillar, Coeur Mining, Collins Aerospace, Daktronics, GE, Garmin, Innovative Systems, Kiewit, Nucor, Omnitech Inc., Raven, RESPEC, Sioux Steel Company, the US Navy, Vishay, and many more. These employers come from 34 different states; of the 簫57 in-state companies represented, 27 are from the Black Hills.

厙ぴ勛圖 students remain in high demand. The most current numbers show 97% of recent graduates are employed in their field of study and have an average starting salary of $68,685. Further, 70% of Mines students land at least one paid major-related internship before graduation. Student interns make an average of $20.96 per hour; many students use this money to offset their tuition. The cost of attending Mines is lower than many competitors and the university is among the top engineering schools in the nation.
